I’m Good

I’m Good by Charlene Jimerson

I am good…when I see good from the eyes of others

The good in me is directing my steps

Lifting up my head

Encouraging me to speak

To laugh

To share with you

To care for you

In the darkest hours when life for me is challenging

Strength is failing

And sadness invites loneliness to the party

My good in me waits quietly for the beneficial opportunity

To promote good

When I sustain, improve, prolong, restore or enhance

Giving of the highest unconditional respect and love to

One who has no memory of its existence
